Four months have passed since the wedding so if you have been following the updates on this blog, you would have seen all the important photos already… the processional, the exchanging of vows and rings, lighting of the unity candle, dinner photos…
Well, there are 80 new photos uploaded. These are photos with stories from the both of us.
And if you bear with us, you’ll get to see some honeymoon photos after the 80 pics are explained.
Let’s start with this one.
With heartfelt thanks, we want to appreciate the music team, led by Titus. Your music that day was perfect and we want to thank you for such a beautiful worship session.
The songs were:

At this point, Sara was so relieved that she managed the processional. We also thank God for giving Dad strength as only the day before, he was breathless and found it difficult to complete the walk down the aisle during the rehearsal. But the Lord was so faithful, that he even managed on 07.07.07 without his walking stick.
For Benny however, the nervousness was building up. Soon it would be time to exchange vows… and to repeat every word correctly.

Fast forward… the vows exchanged, the rings exchanged, everything done… it was time to relax. Boon Fei and Angela had planned a sophisticated, entertaining concert for us and all our dear guests.
It was such a wonderful surprise!

The biggest surprise was that Pastor Chong Hiang was part of the musical drama. The story moved to the beat of Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Kam, depicting the lives of Benny and Sara as they grew up, fell in love and conquered all to tie the knot.
The narrators were Boon Fei and Angela themselves, with J’ffrey acting as Benny and Karen as Sara. The whole play consisted of TNT members who had practised very hard to get their moves right.
Thank you so much! ![]()

Wedding committee & those who worked hard to make it successful… nothing could have been possible without their devotion to us.
Really amazing!
Vivien led the team and we were so privileged as we have just learnt that she will be moving out of town in October, due to job commitments. Everything was timely, truly God had made all things perfect in his time. Vivien also sang a solo “From this moment” to add ambience to our matrimony.
Phoebe, at this time was running around downstairs in the Elim Pavillion to get our hi-tea ready. We also thank her for her sacrifices of time, energy and faithfulness. She and our team from the Sunday cell-group were instrumental to the successful buffet in the evening.
Special mention must also go to the TNT who played a major role in decor and ushering, both of which were well-commended by all our guests. ![]()
Of course, Janet and Lilian… our financial managers… haha.. we apologize for putting them in such an awkward position… of looking like tax collectors at the entrance to our church. But certainly, you have been so important and are much appreciated!
Thank you everyone!

We also wish to thank our relatives from Singapore who rented a van! just so that everyone could come together, a very well-planned trip indeed!

Here we have Sara’s relatives from Singapore and Penang! We thank you and we hope that this wedding was a wonderful time of reunion too!

This is the Sunday cell group which Benny is leading, and it was born out of the Purpose Driven Life campaign that the church organized in 2006. It is amazing what cell groups can do to make God’s people unite and love one another. Your labour of love has certainly proven your unity, care and concern, sense of belonging and growth!

Lo and behold! It’s the gang from Full Gospel Assembly KL… Don’t be mistaken, some of them came from further than KL. Sadie and Kah Jin flew in from Vietnam. There was another wedding in KL on the same day, but look at the support we got. Thank you everyone!
Pastor DB gave us the honour of closing the matrimony. His benediction is something we really wanted, and he obliged us. Thank you!

A-ha! Mostly those from English service who joined us at the wedding… A bubbly lively group who certainly took fashion seriously. Thank you for dressing to the nines at our wedding!
